plantours & Partner GmbH have been operating ship expeditions since 1989. The company operated one 3 star plus cruise ship - MS VISTAMAR built in 1988 in Valencia. The Antarctic experienced Captain Raimund Kruger has been sailing to Antarctic since 1991. 2012, the charter contract with MV VISTAMAR has finished, and plantours signed a new contract with ****Ex-Columbus. The vessel is now for plantours in the market as MV HAMBURG, started its first cruise in May 2012. The vessel accomodates 390 passengers in outside and inside cabins. There are two lounges, library, exercise center, sauna and swimming pool and a dining room that holds all passengers in one sitting. Zodiac landing crafts permit landings in even most remote areas. MS HAMBURG has a sophisticated waste disposal system, the expeditions feature a team of lecturers and naturalists. The vessel sails from Buenos Aires and Ushuaia to the Antarctic Peninsula, with some voyages that include the Falkland Islands.
